Hi, I’m Tina Dorr—patent attorney, chemist, startup strategist... and mom to a dragon-loving 8-year-old.
I grew up in Georgia and never strayed far: I earned my undergrad and PhD in chemistry and biochemistry from UGA and Georgia Tech, then completed my law degree at Georgia State. Today, I help startups protect what makes them different—whether that’s a breakthrough in biotech, a consumer product ready to scale, or a platform built to disrupt.
Before law, I lived in the lab. That means I speak founder, inventor, and engineer—and I know how to translate brilliant technical ideas into strong, enforceable patents that attract investors and fend off copycats.
When I’m not working with innovators, I’m strength training in my home gym sanctuary, on the mats training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, reading fantasy fiction, or talking about dragons, Legos, and anime with my son. (I’m also married to another patent attorney, so yes—IP talk is dinner conversation.)
